Anchor text

Very important rule in content marketing is not to use anchor text. Now you probably what is that anchored text? It’s those words in the copy that form the link. Why it’s bad to use the same words as in link?

Interact with your competitors

Now you probably thinking “what? Why should I do that?” The rivalry in web is a little bit different than in business. Here both parts wins because of linking your competitors. How come?

One part gets the benefit of a link, while the other gets recognition, co-citation value, recognition from the other audience who is related to your niche, and the ethical use of its data in a great piece of content. Overall, it’s good to link to other websites, competitors or not, as long as those websites have great content that adds value to your own.

Internal Links

What does it mean? That it is creating a link from one page of your website to another. But don’t be confused, it’s not the same as menu links. Menu links are part of the structure of the site as a whole, and internal links refers to actual text links within the content. Internal links can strengthen your site structure and integrity.

And also, what it do is helping user access additional content, improving dwell time, reducing bounce rate, distributing page authority throughout the site, enhancing the crawlability of the site, increasing the indexation of all pages and increasing overall page views across the site.
